Sorta sounds like Buffy, which would normally erk me, but it sounds reeeeally good, so I dont care. In fact I hope it does have the Buffyish element, with a girl kicking some serious butt, 'cus we don't have that many strong and by strong I mean, fighting, girls in YA fiction. Calla was great, Evie was eeer, and the Silver Phoenix was awesome but underappreciated! Really looking forward to this read.... the cover = WOWSERS!!

edit: I loved the original cover alot and really want that cover, but hey, this new cover is pretty darn sweet too!!
