Fascinating! A grisly, gross, scary, funny, tale of a young man's unexpected travels through the belly of London's underworld. The main character, Richard Mayhew, wants nothing more than to return to his ordinary life aboveground in London. Instead, he and his underworld traveling companions face multiple challenges, dangerous and deadly to them all.

I listened to this gripping tale on CD, read by the author himself, and thoroughly enjoyed the book. Excellent! Neil Gaiman is a wonderful storyteller with a vivid imagination and an ability to paint powerful literary images with his words, enabling the reader/listener to see through his creative mind's eye as if watching a colorful movie. Recommended to anyone who loves a good story.
