This was another entertaining read by Nora Roberts. She's a very prolific writer with a knack for description and characterization. Her descriptions of the lodge and the rain forest were utterly compelling and vivid.

For the most part, I liked Noah and Olivia, although I found their romance so dizzying and aggravating that it made my head spin at times! Olivia's emotions were all over the map--backing off, giving in, backing off again, while Noah just kept bulldozing ahead with stubborn determination to make Olivia love him. He was quite sweet and sensitive at times, though, even when Olivia tried very bluntly to discourage him.

I guessed the twist in the mystery about halfway through the book and was rather disappointed in the ending when the twist was kind of just thrust upon the reader with not a lot of build up.

For the most part, I enjoyed the book and will certainly read other mysteries by Ms. Roberts.
