This is what a children's picture book should be ... fun to look at, fun to read, fun to have read to you, and with a nice little message wrapped up in all the fun.

David Shannon's art is superb. Every page has something for the children to not only look at, but to study, to be engrossed in.

The message of "be yourself" is so simple, and it comes across nicely that the power is with YOU to do it -- even the "specialists" and the "experts" can't solve your problems for you. But being yourself will make things clearer.

This book will always have a spot on my bookshelf. I still read it to my children, and I hope to read it to my grandchildren some day.
