Oh dear. Well, I have only myself to blame for this one. I was looking for audiobooks narrated by Simon Prebble, because he's a fantastic reader, and checked this one out even though I've never ever had any success with regency romances that were not written by Jane Austen or Georgette Heyer. And the streak continues, though I'll admit I didn't finish the book. I simply don't understand why 'heroes' whose predatory behavior goes far beyond sexual harassment are considered in any way appealing. I also couldn't put up with the constant point of view switching, and if I'd heard the phrase "she dragged in a huge breath" one more time, I would have flung the CD out the window. To avoid the hefty fine that would no doubt result if I indulged such a impulse, I prudently returned the book to the library unfinished.
