This was another satisfying and suspenseful mystery from Val McDermid. In 1978 during a snowstorm four university students stumbled across the body of a rape and murder victim. They maintain their innocence but suspicion haunts their lives for the next twenty-five years. In 2003, this cold case is one of several under review and further deaths occur.... I figured out who the killer of Rosie Duff was but there were still some surprises.
