This is the first Eloisa James book I have read. There's a secondary couple in the book that of Sebastian & Esme which the author choses not to finish in this book but to do it in the next book of the series. Sadly, this is disappointing for me. As of now I couldn't grasp why the author has introduced the secondary couple into this book & I would even say that they took up almost half the story, only not to finish it. I'm sure it is to signal the reader to continue to read the next book. But as of the moment, I'm still wounded & I'll just read other authors first. Perhaps I'll come back to her later.
