really liked it
bookshelves: historical-fiction
Read in May, 2009

Two girls, one poor one royal - how they became "friends". A good historical fiction novel - easy and fun to read. I liked how it put me in the 1700s with Marie Antoinette and the french revolution. I thought the author did a fair job of explaining both sides of the revolution and made it understandable - sad, but I could see how it came to happen and perhaps was necessary? Great read for teens and adults!
