I enjoyed this book because I learned a lot about the time of the American Revolution. The book follows a boy who is in search of his parents who were taken as prisoners by the Brittish during the war. He meets many helpful people along the way, and learns that there still is a lot of good in the world despite the evil present all around him. He grows up on his journey for his parents. Good book to teach students about the time in American history, but a little violent.
