This was no feel good story. No redemption. No love conquers all. Michael was more than a starving artist suffering for his muse. He was feral, there was no muse, just pain and a constant struggle to interact with society. He was not a damaged man but a destroyed one. This book is going to haunt me.

I thought that there could have been different endings for this but even those alternatives were not happy. Sonya, thank you for the sunshine book! I needed that!
Yes, I think I need more...something similar. I'm not ready for another dark story. And I need a playlist for American Love Songs!
We should email the author and see if they have a playlist/mix already set up for this story. I would be rocking it on my IPOD.
Or we could come up with our own playlist. Unfortunately, I have Very bad taste in music, or so I've been told.
