it was amazing
bookshelves: mystery-greece
Read in January, 2009

Inspector Costas Haritos is similar in outlook and attitude to Leon's Brunetti and Wingfield's Jack Frost - irascible, rude, attentive to food, intuitive detective skills and a well-hidden heart of gold. Haritos' seems particularly hateful to his wife, with dialog and attitude that is uncomfortable to read. So far only two of Markaris' wonderful police procedurals have been translated into English, and wish there were more!
