Elissa Wall - the 14 year old girl who testified against Warren Jeff's in his 2007 trial for accomplice to sexual abuse of a minor...and other charges...tells her story of being raised in a Polygamy family. This story is a bit different from the other two women's stories (Shattered Dreams and Escape) in that Elissa was forced into sexual relations so young and (fortunatly) never had any babies by her abuser, her assigned husband, who just happened to also be her first cousin - they had the same grandfather. She did, however, have 3 miscarriages and 1 stillbirth. Elissa tells of her struggles in the marriage, her rebellion/submission - divided mind - and then of meeting her future husband, who had also had abuses in the religion, and became her "salvation." What was especially interesting was her continued faith in God as her Father who would be listening to her in her time of need...and when she knew what was being done to her was not what he would want. Her prayers to him to help set her free.
