Forest of Secrets (Warriors, #3)

The series is definitely getting more interesting at this point, All of my previous complaints regarding the other books in the series remain relevant, but this one book did manage to throw a curve ball at me, and that's good. I'm also noticing the writing style if not improving precisely, at least shifting to being less annoying. There are more varied sentence structures in this book than in the previous two, and a wider choice of adjectives is used, but I really still feel the author could benefit from looking through their thesaurus more often.
Every single "surprise twist" telegraphed itself just unbelievably, save one. I really feel that if the book is going to be told from Fireheart's perspective, he should not be so dense, as this is very frustrating to some readers. I think the age demographic this is pitched at is both experienced enough and smart enough to figure out a lot of these plot points well in advance, and the leading up to them gets quite tiresome after a while. The drama is heating up though, so I'm off to book 4

I agree that fireheart is too dense in this book. It is very obvious who mistyfoot and stonefur are, and that bothered me, but overall it was a very good book.
