ow do you like this book so far? I bought a couple copies and gave them away to pals. It's a lot to digest...but I'm very curious to see what happens on Oprah's bookclub. I've read a lot of the responses and people are savvy about such a heavy set of topics about ego etc.

Candy - it isn't easy digesting. I find myself reading passages over and over again. But I do really like everything I've read thus far -- only just started.

I've heard about this book but I haven't read it. There's another book on this subject that I really enjoyed and that I'd like to recommend to you: The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey. It's easy reading, but the concepts are life changing...at least they were for me.

I'm going to have to check out A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose.

(Another great book--if you haven't already read it--is Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren.)

Yes, I definitely agree with John that the Purpose-Driven Life is a deep yet simplified study of God's love. Profound in that sense.

Own The 7 Habits...even have given it away. John I will have to read it now!
