This book is amazing. I'm not usually a huge fan of poetry as many times it's too abstract, but this collection of poetry and essays is so grounded and vivid in capturing the emotions of girls and what they face. I'd highly recommend it for everyone. It's a short read and well worth every page.
There's a poem in here, Refuser, that I loved, and an essay Five cows and a calf that made me ball.

Rachel have you read insecure at last yet? i found myself regularly in tears... it was so powerful.

I finally got around to reading Insecure at Last. It was great! But, I do like the poetry a lot more.
