So...this book is being heralded as "Microserfs" for the 2000's. Really? Are ya sure? Or maybe you're being ironic...(insert eye roll here)

Now, to be fair, I read, and quite liked "Microserfs." I liked it a lot. But I haven't read it recently. Maybe I might feel differently reading it again after reading this mess.

This book is chock-a-block full of "wacky" people getting into "wacky" situations. WHee-hoo. Whatever...

I should know better by now. I didn't like "Shampoo Planet." Or "Generation X." Or "Life After God." Actually, the only Douglas Coupland books I have liked are "Microserfs" and "Hey Nostradamus." (What this means about me, I'm not sure.)

Maybe I'm not getting something that's cool and ironic and hipster. I don't know.

But I do know that I'm glad that this book is going straight back to the library!

Saby OMG I don't think I've seen you give a one star rating! Enough said. I won't be reading that one.
