Sylvan, was trained as a slave all his life and was honored to go to a new master. But his new master wants nothing to do with a slave.
Nygell, a Lord, is the commander of the kings army, but secretly he doesn't want to make the decisions and Sly is just a reminder that he has to. Until one night when he ask Sly to do the one thing he has been trained, furiously, not too.

The Author done a really great job with this book. The setting was perfect through out, we see real character progression, though the begging is a little slow.

Great book, I highly recommend.
