did not like it
bookshelves: could-not-finish, literary-spinach

I give up. There is no reason for anyone to read anything but a sample and synopsis of this book. I've seen suggestions that readers should just read the soapbox speech around page 900, but even it was too long-winded to finish. Characters are one-dimensional and unlikeable, and I can poke a hundred holes in her grasp of economic theory.

Manage to get to page 453, plus 10 pages of the soapbox. Also managed to figure out who John Galt was way back in the beginning. It was not much of a mystery.

If I could, I would give this 0 stars. It's more torturous than watching puppies get stuffed in a blender.
