As a Jane Austen fan, I did like getting to imagine one series of events of what could have happened to Elizabeth and Darcy after their marriage. Getting to reenter the world of Regency England with some of my favorite characters was a delight. There are some great moments between Elizabeth and Darcy that live up to my expectations of how those two would continue to interact. As far as the mystery element goes, it's just simple fun. Figuring out who was plotting against the Bingley's was pretty easy. If you're looking for a sophisticated or complex mystery, I'd look elsewhere.
