Francisco and his grandfather set out hoping that someone will hire them for a day. He learns a lot from his grandfather on this day, when they decide to help a gardener and they really don't know much about gardening. This book is endearing and teaches students about hard work, different cultures, and honesty.

-Great book to make text-to-self connections
-family book, awesome life-skills book
-wordy, more appropriate for upper grades.
