bookshelves: horus-heresy-series, warhammer-40k, science-fiction, 21st-century

At over 550 pages A Thousand Sons is the longest book in the series so far. Maybe some of the other books could have benefited from being a little longer than they were.

Events are seen from the point of view of the the Thousand Sons Legion with observations from the Space Wolves Legion. Can a son defy his father and still remain loyal? Can he try to warn him of his brothers treachery and not be believed? Does his father over-react or did the son, in warning his father, break faith, or worse, with him?
