** spoiler alert ** My teen years were filled with stacks of Christopher Pike books read over-and-over until the pages and covers fell off. I've read his other adult novels and was estatic to see his newest on the shelf and quickly swept it up to read.

I immediately felt taken back in time... to all of my teen years. This book to me is okay but it's a big conglomeration of his previous novels. The "faked death" has been done before in Gimme a Kiss and in Fall Into Darkness. Fall Into Darkness also lent its shocking ending to (one of the endings in) Falling. Due to this constant borrowing of storylines, I felt that not enough of this novel was up to chance.

I still enjoyed this read for a good flash back but the final ending was a bit too vague for me and too tidy. I would have preferred a bit more on the end or at least an epilogue but again, there's a few of his YA novels that did the same thing.
