It was decent. I enjoy a detective novel and like seeing how it all comes together. Lionel is an unusual protagonist and through him the reader experiences his world of tics and outbursts as he struggles to control his Tourettes this makes him less of a shadowy detective and more of a sideshow who frequently draws attention to himself. Of course, his disability also causes people to underestimate him and therein lies our story.
