I had heard so many good things about this title. I thought I should give it a try. The cover made me believe I'd like it, Pulitzer Prize and all. I can tell you that it's well written, but it was so real and so depressing. There wasn't that overarching theme...that silver lining or lesson learned. It was just depressing and I really couldn't identify with the characters. Maybe I'll read it again one day and enjoy it. For now, there are other things that need my attention.
