Not that cool, really...

Emily the Strange: The Lost Days, failed to capture me in any way. The whole Amnesia plot element is SO cliché. Yes, I’m sure it’s so much easier for the writer to present their main character when the main character has amnesia and is learning about there-selves at the same time the reader is, but I mean, c’mon! So overdone, really. The little pictures were cute and matched the book very well. There was a heavy goth/emo theme to the book, which seemed to match the main character well enough, but there just wasn’t enough to interest the reader besides the main character suffering from amnesia trying to find clues leading to total recall.

It was like The Bourne Identity, without anything cool to drive the plot.
