This was great. Again, as I've said in other sequels I've reviewed, this was a success for me partly because I was familiar with the characters, having got to know some of their quirks and qualities in the previous book allows me to slip into their lives quicker the second time around.

I really enjoyed the mystery in this book, though i guessed the perp early on (side note: I've often pondered whether mystery novelists and crime show writers make it easy to pick the perp so that the reader/viewer can feel intelligent that they figured it out before the characters, linking the ego-boost and consequent happy feelings to the book/show... any comments?), it was still enjoyable.

The only part of the whole enjoyable ride that threw me a little came late in the story (view spoiler)[ when Harper realises that she loves Tolliver and has some maybe-not-so-sisterly feelings there... it wasn't that she could go there, it was that it hadn't occured to her earlier and that we didn't examine it more (hide spoiler)], well, maybe in the next book, which coincidently is sitting on the top of my to-read pile!
