In this book Anne has 6 children and the book is mostly about them and their little adventures. I think she's turned into the Mother from Peter Pan, she just listens and soothes their worries. It was OK but, apart from her dreaminess and sensitivity about her red hair, Anne was not as interesting as in earlier books
