I'm waiting for the library to deliver a next collection of short stories, since my used bookstore search yesterday turned up naught that I was keen to read. This wasn't really cheating- I'd classify these 211 pages of large-ish print a novella. ;) Read this morning in 2 hours, 3 cups of coffee and two Stan Getz albums.

So lovely. Old school storytelling- that Beginning, Middle, End, protagonist faces dilemma, has a personal coming-to-terms and finds resolution stuff I've been craving after wrestling through a ream of avant garde.

Thank you to my Irish lass, Maureen, for gifting me this dreamy Irish read.
