I was looking for a little pick-me-up and picked up this book for that very reason. I was hoping for something similar to The Last Lecture or a Mitch Album book. While I very much liked the concept of the book, the first half was a bit of a drag. As the author began to see the positive in his life and got better at writing "thank you notes" the book picked up and was more what I was looking for. He didn't have the same prose as the two above mentioned authors, but the 200 page quick read was worth my time. The concept of thanking those I love and who have helped me in this life is something I hope to take to heart.
