Oh, the Clive Cussler books I've read - only because my dad likes to buy them and then I pick them up at home. They're kind of formulaic - always some mysterious adventure with suave Dirk Pitt in the center, always a beautiful woman who sleeps with Pitt in the end (not many details given, thank goodness). They're the kind of book you'd buy for your husband to read on the beach during vacation (not that my husband ever wants to sit and read on the beach, he'd rather be parasailing or something). Anyway, they're fun.
