Ken Auletta has written an engrossing tale of the rise of Google and its implications. I bought this book after reading a blog post by Auletta in which he referenced his book. The book does a great job of telling the story of Google's rise, those affected by that rise, and where Google is and may be going. The writing is fluid and Auletta tells a story well. My only complaint was there sometimes seemed to be overlap between certain sections and others, almost as if two magazine articles had been cobbled together. (I think one more round of editing could have fixed this.) That is a minor thing. I highly recommend this book. Bravo Mr. Auletta.
