There were some good things about this book. I enjoyed being reminded that God, while being a loving Savior, is also mysterious, powerful and at times, beyond our understanding...and sometimes we have to accept that. I disliked the ending which became quite legalistic at times with a list of the many ways we can draw closer to God...none of his ideas were particularly new or crazy...just came close to being a list of things we "have" to do for God. I REALLY disliked his entire metaphor as faith-life being either in "borderland" or in the "holy wild". These are non-
Biblical terms that really seemed to have little basis in Scripture.

Wendy Roberts Who gifted you the book? Did you read it yet? I'm a bit more than halfway through...yes, we'll have to discuss it....I'm still forming my opinion.
