Awesome book!

I love things that have something to do with the last tsar of Russia and the Romanov family. This is ya-book about Anastasia, the youngest daughter of Tsar Nicholas, told in first person view. It tells about the imprisonment time of the Romanov family and the romance of Anastasia and young guard called Sasha. While most of the events are historically accurate, the romance is fictious.

There wasn't boring time in the book, I was always waiting for the next meeting of Anastasia and Sasha and wanted to see how their relationship developed. Also, even though I know how the Romanov's story goes, the growing tension of the family's situation makes the book very interesting because it shows it from Anastasia's point of view.

The ending is kind of open even though we know what happened to Anastasia and her family. And makes me want to think the story has an alternative ending. :)
