This is a pretty nifty series of vignettes about what roles dogs play in our lives. Sometimes it's a little hard to read because it becomes clear that humans think a lot more about what dogs can do for us than what we can do for them, and sometimes the dog suffers because of this. It's not super deep, but it'll give you something to think about.
