I do love these books! This one had an interesting twist in that Cal has amnesia, which makes him very human - lacking the Auphe darkness. He was at turns thoughtful, suspicious, curious and accepting. Also heartbreaking as he began to figure things out. The only thing that really bothered me was his reactions to Robin - seemingly overhyped on anything remotely sexual. It was tedious. Otherwise, the action/violence/humor/half-truths was pure Thurman.
