really liked it

This light mystery is a romp through Transylvania with the spectre of vampires and werewolves amid plans for a royal wedding. Yes, it is silly, but it is also tonic for those of us who need a pick-me-up or are a bit bogged down by so many dreary, angst-ridden contemporary novels.

I turned to this confection after discarding a Booker Prize nominee. I really, really would like to read some serious, uplifting, contemporary Literature (yes, let's give it a Big L) but until I find that magical holy grail, I will be perfectly happy picking up another one of Rhys Bowen's Her Royal Spyness mysteries. This confection of a book saved me from eating a whole box of bon bons--just as comforting!
