Mother's Best is an intriguing look at recipes from a restaurant I've never heard of, but would love to visit. Unfortunately the e-ARC that I received had some copy issues, so some of the recipes are missing some quantities and some descriptions are gone, but that didn't stop me from drooling over the food. I'd gladly make a bunch of the mac and cheese recipes and the desserts, and the love notes were very helpful--I was able to use one of them to make some potato soup from leftover mashed potatoes. If the recipe there is an indication of the rest of the recipes I will definitely think about picking up a physical copy of this book.

Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the e-ARC.
