Even within the vampire brotherhood, Zsadist is feared. Still bearing the scars from a tortured past, he is renowned for his unquenchable fury. Anger is his only companion, and terror is his only passion-until he rescues a beautiful female from the evil Lessening Society.

This is book 3 of the black dagger brotherhood. It is also hands down, without a doubt, my favorite one yet. Zsadist, while a dedicated brother, is different from the rest of them. Even from his twin, Phury. Zsadist was a blood slave for a century, and the things that were done to him damaged his body and mind for the rest of time. People fear him, make assumptions about him based off of appearance and rumors. Life has been exhausting for this man. The torments he inflicts upon himself make sense, from the perspective of someone sexually assaulted. It is heart wrenching, beautiful, and one hell of a rollercoaster ride from the very first page.
