did not like it
bookshelves: abandonned, mystery-thriller, fiction, first-reads
Read from March 16 to 19, 2011

There might be a good story in here somewhere, buried under the problems. This book seems to be populated by malfunctioning androids. Their reactions, dialogue and behaviour make no sense whatsoever, and they lack any kind of emotional content. In addition, the writing itself is terrible, choppy, halting, unimaginative. I tried hard to find some merit in this book, and all I can say is it may have made a better screenplay/movie. Maybe.

I won this book in the First Reads giveaway.
