Thus far, this was my least fav LOTU novel. The first three captured my interest more fully. Gwen got kind of annoying. I wasn't fond of her lack of self-confidence in the beginning. Sabin didn't seem to wrestle as much with his demon as the Maddox, Lucien, and Reyes. It seemed too...cooperative? It hid from Gwen for goodness sake! I'm looking forward to Gideon's book. He's always been entertaining, and this book showed his more vulnerable side, which was nice. I'm anxious to see his HEA.
