If we had half stars this would be a 3.5 read. It is a very interesting and frustrating story of the twenty seven year effort to charge Ottis Toole with the kidnap and murder of six-year-old Adam Walsh. As a result of poor police work and inflated egos all the parties involved managed not to connect the dots. It was amazing how much evidence was ignored. Especially since Toole had confessed umpteen times!
