Again, she can do so much better. Maybe the slightest bit better than her previous effort, if only because he didn't cheat on her while they were together. I will say I'm also not a fan of sudden appearances of bastard children, but this book almost made it bearable because of the reasoning which made sense at that time. The thing that makes this book go off track is when she starts paying off the blackmailer. At that point, any sane person would have admitted to themselves that this secret is going to come out, come clean to her husband, and hope he will forgive her. So that got really out of hand. Still a good read overall, but a bit disappointing. I am looking forward to the next brother's book because I hope the flaws of the previous two novels won't be an issue with the next.
