This book is a most read!!! I couldnt stop reading it and read it whenever I could. Maybe i just love it so much because I havent been able to find a good book in three months, or that it's sortof a new book. So, it's not a chick-flick book and Im overjoyed about that because I am overly annoyed with teen books. This book is a mystery for adults. Since it's the 4th one in the series, it took me up to the end of the 2nd chapter to completely understand who everyone was, and how they relate to the main character. But it's definately not one of those books that start off slow.
The main character in the book is also different from other books I read. I expected her to be innocent and someone who always puts her job before anything else, not the most attractive and isnt really social. Mainly, because in the book she described herself as "a bean pole...fraction less than six feet..." and said "What woman in her right mind wants to be six feet tall?...How can you find skirts long enough to cover your knees? Put a pitchfork in my hand and I look like a farmer; put a spear in my hand and I look like an undernourished Valkyrie." However, the book started with her going to work with a hangover, saying she hates being organized and screaming at her worker because she entered her room and cleaned it up for her(even though she was just feeling cranky). O yah, and did I mention she sortof has a uncommited sexual relationship with about 5 men who all want to rap her, or marry her(She feeling nothing.) She's not your normal character. I'm not sure about you, but this got me hooked right away. Her name is Vicky. Long story short, she's a worker at a museum and finds treasures to add to the musuem.
