Ah, Death. Skinny chap. Dresses in black. Rides a white horse. Carries farm implements. Grins a lot. Actually a lot more friendly than you'd think. Too friendly, some would say. Too involved with his work. There have been irregularities. So, one day, he finds a special, golden lifetimer among the day's assignments. It's got his own name on it. For the first time in his (for lack of a better word) life, Death has time. Not much of it. But enough to see a new side of the world. A chance to live, and in the end to die. A chance to know what it is to be part of the harvest, and for the harvest to know the reaper man. But Death is not the type to be able to take a vacation without consequences...

A good story, an endearing look at the loneliest and most unique Discworld character. The secondary plot was a bit odd at times, and things didn't always flow smoothly, but all in all a great book.

WHAT CAN THE HARVEST HOPE FOR, IF NOT FOR THE CARE OF THE REAPER MAN?
