"Shop Till You Drop" is the first in a cozy mystery series by Elaine Viets called A Dead End Job Mystery. The main character, Helen, is on the run from the Midwest, relocated to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and is unable to work at a well-paying job with benefits, because she doesn't want her ex-husband to find her. Throughout the book, the author reveals bit by bit what happened to her and why she is on the run from her ex. This series has some great quirky characters and shows a lot of promise. I gave it 3.5 stars and would definitely read the next in the series, in fact, I've already picked up a copy.
