Werewolves in Their Youth: Stories
by Michael Chabon
Was there a movie about wonder Boys? Oneder Boys? Was Pittsburg a book by same author?
I only don't like short stories because they don't give you time to forget about one group of characters before introducing the next. It's easy for me to get them confused.

OK, I LOVED Wonder Boys and was glad I read Pittsburg though I can't say I loved it. I don't usually care for short stories for some reason -- I guess because they are short. However, the stories in Werewolf are so interesting and compelling that I really did like that they were short because in some ways they could be more preposterous because they don't have to spin on and on. He makes his point and then moves to the next story, and the "points" are so insightful. The characters are so weird and so familiar. What a storyteller.
