it was amazing

Shocking that it took me so long to finally read one of Austen's books. I loved it - it took me a few chapters to not hear the A&E Mrs. Bennett in my head whenever she spoke, but after awhile, I was lost in the drama of Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy. Wish I read it sooner!

Angela Twice in my life, I've gone on a "Classic Books" reading campaign to read the books I "should" have read. That's how I discovered P&P and Ethan Frome. After reading too many bad books, it's good to remind myself that good writing can be enthralling too.

Jaclyn I love those "classic" campaigns - finally reading some of those books has made the other books that I love make more sense somehow-- as though knowing what came before gives foundation to all the rest.
