Pulpy pleasure reminiscent of those incestuous gothics by V.C. Andrews. This dime-store paperback (complete with creepy cover) mixes the Freudian perversity of Robert Bloch's original "Psycho" with the depraved ventriloquism of William Goldman's "Magic," making for a Hansel-and-Gretal-gone-bad story. Out of print and practically impossible to find, you'd have better luck watching the early 90's film adaptation streaming on Netlfix right now.
