Shadowplay (Shadowmarch, #2)
by Tad Williams

This meal is quite filling. The table is set for the story. The bad guy has enough spice and artificial flavoring to make him sinfully good. The heroin is complex and interesting enough to go for seconds. Although the smells of the story seems to be predictable, the odors keep changing and keeps the reader questioning just what the end meal will be. Just when you think your eating beacon, you find you were eating turkey. It definitely a meal I recommend, but not if you just want a snack.
