i gave this book 3 stares i tried to get into it but just like Inkheart it just was not that interesting to me. This book is about a teenager named Ben and how he tries to help a dragon Firedrake on his journey to the rime of heaven. This book has many different creatures that help them along the way and one very evil Villon. If you really like fiction and adventure then you would like this book.
Dragon Rider this book has many different characters but the main characters are Ben and Firedrake. Firedrake is one of the first characters that show up in this book, when Rosa a rat comes to worn them that humans are planing on flooding there hidden valley that they have been hiding in for sentries. Many of the all of the dragons leave but two Firedrake and the oldest and wisest dragon Slatebeard. firedrake is forced to sleep in an abandon warehouse were he runs into Ben who is confused but not scared. That's when he decides he wants to help the dragon and they set off on there journey.
as they fly all over the western hemisphere the go off track and end up in Egypt. Where they meat another human named Professor Greenbloom sorrel is automatically suspicious. Professor Greenbloom gives Ben one of two freezing-cold metallic scales of Nettlebrand. What Ben doesn't no is that he has been an enemy of the humans for many years.
Cornelia Funke likes to right fiction and she is pretty good at it. But her books just don't interest me. this book is about a very long journey to the rime of heaven. She puts many surprises in here books that you don't see coming. You expect one thing and the complete opposite happens.
